Pictures
![]() This was me. October 2001.
I weighed somewhere between 181-185 pounds. Some have said, "Oh Erin! That's just an unflattering picture." And this may be true. Just the same, you can't deny The Buddha. It's there is full force. Not until February 2002 did I actually realize how fat I had become, and then began in earnest to change my life. I used to take progress photos but then I just got sick and tired of it, and, honestly, my life went a little topsy-turvy, I gained back 20 pounds, and had to re-lose them again. Which I did. But I don't look a helluva lot different now than I did when I started regaining, back in May 2005. So, I just took them all down. The whole idea seems silly to me anyway, and I'd completely forgotten about them until recently. They really didn't serve a purpose anymore. Plus, they were all about four years old. God. I've keeping this blog this long! I don't suspect I'll do something like take progress photos again, because, as I said, the whole idea seems silly to me anymore. I'm still proud of how healthy I've become, and how well I take care of myself, and I don't need "fat pictures" to serve as a reminder of that.
