At our house, this morning

Scott, upon reading my last entry: When we get pregnant, you’re going to wait at least three months to tell the Internet, aren’t you?

Erin: Oh God yes. I think we will probably end up telling our families long before that, though.

Scott: Well, sure, but…

Erin: …and I’m going to have to tell Kate Shea first, you know. I mean, after you. But I have to tell my sister.

Scott: Yes, I know.

Erin: We talk every day. Sometimes twice a day!

Scott: Yes, I know.

Erin: OK. As long as you’re OK with that.

Scott: Are you kidding? I already know you’re going to call her the morning after it happens and report back to her with something like, “I’m pretty sure that one took.”

Hey there, when I first got pregnant I didn’t even tell my parents or his for several days and then we waited to tell the majority of people until I was past the first three months…I didn’t want to jinx it somehow and have a miscarriage, but I did want to get past that first part and I was barely showing at that point and I went in and got into a maternity outfit and put a pillow in there and made my grand entrance…it was mother’s day of all times when we told all of the rest of our family and friends…good luck…
